SAY NO to Unlimited Liquor Stores in Clarksville
Research shows that an increase of liquor stores leads to an increase in crime. It is our job to protect Clarksville and the safety of our neighborhoods.
"Researchers say these stores that sell wine, beer, or liquor for off-premise (liquor stores) consumption have a stronger association with homicides, aggravated assaults, sexual assaults, and robbery, compared to places like bars and restaurants where the alcohol is consumed at that location."

Excessive alcohol use is responsible for 88,000 deaths in the U.S. per year, including 1 death per 39 minutes from drunk driving. These deaths are preventable. Do not trade the safety of our community for more liquor stores.
“High concentrations of alcohol outlets (ie, high outlet density) are an environmental hazard that increases the risk of excessive drinking and related harms—including violence, alcohol-impaired driving, pedestrian injuries, disorderly conduct, noise, public nuisance, and property damage.”
